Shipping

Who is shipping my pieces?

We ship worldwide with DHL from China. We do not mark-up the shipping costs.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are based on the total weight of the order. They're determined by DHL and are subject to change. We do not mark-up our shipping costs.

How much is shipping?

Shipping price depends on the final delivery location and order weight. We'll calculate it automatically when you check out.

Where do you ship to?

We ship worldwide from our factory in China.

How soon will I receive my order?

Preorders will remain open for the first week of every month. Once you place your order, please look out for an email confirmation with your order number. As our pieces are made to order, there is a 21 business day production lead time, following preorder closure. Once your order has finished the production phase, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email. As our pieces are made to order in China, shipping timelines vary per location. Please allow 5-7 business days from the time you receive a shipping confirmation email, to its delivery.

Why are the Moodelier pieces only available for preorder?

At Moodelier, we strive to create an exceptional experience, from start to finish. Because we are a small creative business, every piece is made to order. Preordering allows us to create a smoother order and delivery process for you. It also gives us the time to manage shipping and production to make sure your vision and needs are met.

How can I make sure I grab the pieces I need?

As always, the best way to stay up to date on our collection and shop availability is to follow us on Instagram, and sign up for our email list. We’ll make sure to notify you every time our pieces are live for preorder. We might even email you regarding additional pieces we have for immediate purchase, from time to time. Make sure you’re in the know by signing up here.

When are the Moodelier pieces available for purchase?

Preorders for all Moodelier pieces will be available one (1) week every month. We'll announce the date on our website and instagram.

How far in advance should I preorder my pieces?

That’s a great question! Based on the timeline above, we recommend planning ahead, and ordering at least one month in advance. This might sound fairly lengthy, but our goal is to ensure you receive your pieces and prepare for your upcoming experience, project or vision with ample time.

Where are our pieces made?

Our pieces are made in our Chinese factory. They are shipped directly from there.

I am an international customer, do I have to pay custom and taxes?

If you are ordering from outside the US, you may be subject to custom, taxes (inc. VAT), and any other relevant fees. These charges are not included in our costs and are at your charge. We will not be able to reimburse you for any such charges. USA customs regulations imposes that we display the full value of the products on the front of the package (this includes products that are purchased at a discounted price or are part of a promotion). Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order.

What if I want to order in bulk?

What happened if my order is damaged?

In the unlikely events your order is damaged during transport - contact our customer service (hello@moodelier.com) within 24hrs of delivery, with proof of damage (dated and timed).

Can I paint the pieces?

If you'd like to have one of our pieces in a different colour, buy the pieces in the colour white. The white is a coat primer, which can be used as a "white piece" or to apply any colour. Note that if you spray-paint the pieces, they may not have the same polished finish.

What are the pieces made from?

Our pieces are made of MDF wood with a lacquered finish, which gives them a unique beautiful polish.

How do I care for the products?

To clean any of our pieces, simply whipe them down gently. Our products are also sting-free, so you should be able to wipe out any paint you accidentally spilled on them, if done quickly.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept payments by cards and from PayPal.

Can I change the pieces in a bundle?

The pieces in our bundles can't be swapped with others, nor are we selling individual pieces yet.

Can I get a refund?

As our pieces are made to order, we cannot offer any refunds.

Can I change or cancel my order?

As our pieces are made to order, we cannot offer exchanges or cancellation. Orders are final once payment has been made.
